“Unico was very clean and it’s a beautiful resort. It’s not my favorite beach resort primarily because the food and service was mediocre compared to other resorts I’ve visited. Regardless, my husband and I had a nice visit and I would recommend this resort if you are looking to travel to this area.”

Highly recommended this as the food at Coba is mediocre, the Akumal resort however had amazing food. On par with premium Vegas buffets. VIP premium also got us a free bottle of Tequila to take home. “Hotel Mereva was beyond amazing. Our room was steps from the sea and beach loungers. We had access to two amazing pools and a cenote across the street. Food and drinks were a 10 out of 10. “This hotel was a lovely oasis in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Tulum can be an exhausting city, and the Naay Tulum Hotel was a peaceful and lovely place to spend time. The staff would go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and it felt more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. ”

We stayed in the room with the floating bed suspended by rope. I found the space awkward. The bed took up the entire room space. It was no room for luggage, no night stand to place anything.
