I was told at check in that the refrigerator needed to be replaced and someone would knock at the door to do that. The thermostat is damaged and the cover for the air handler is exposing damaged wallpaper. The locks for the shampoo, conditioner, and soap are all missing in the shower which means any fluids can be inserted into those items. The shower control knob and the tub stopper both fell off when I touched them.

I didn't even stay in this property even though i booked it, it was that bad. The rooms were like dungeons, no windows, low ceilings, no space even to put legs between shower and toilet, noisy air conditioner are just a few to mention. I have asked for the refund, if not provided i will be taking legal action.

Property location is very convenient. Close do all major attractions. Area itself very nice and pleasant to the eye. Our main disappointment was air conditioner in the room which didn't seem to be working at all. It was hot and sleeping condition was terrible before because of that. Breakfast was nothing special, but okay. Other than that, it was nicely situated, clean and quiet.

I recently stayed at The Arcadian powered by Sonder and had a wonderful experience overall. The location is fantastic, and the accommodations are modern and comfortable. The room was clean and well-maintained, making for a pleasant stay. There are a few areas where improvements could be made. Some staff members, particularly in housekeeping and one at the front desk, had difficulty understanding my requests due to a language barrier. Additionally, the hotel charges quite a bit extra for late departures, which can be inconvenient. The breakfast options could use some enhancements. Currently, it consists mainly of heavy carb items, with no protein options such as bacon, eggs, or sausage. The single toaster available takes a long time to toast bread, often requiring two cycles. Despite these minor issues, The Arcadian is a great place to stay. One suggestion for improvement is to utilize the very nice empty space they have for a bar area, which would add a great touch to the overall experience. With a few tweaks, this hotel could easily earn a full five stars.

Overall pretty decent. Great environment, nice location, good facility and service. I don't like their breakfast selection tho: only milk and bread, no essential proteins like egg or meat in any source. Other than that, there's no vent inside the restroom.

I booked a room that said “No view” and assumed that meant no nice view. What I didn’t realise is it meant its only windows face an interior hallway. This meant we couldn’t open the curtains at all - as people walking by- or get any natural light. I can’t believe a hotel would even offer such a room.

When we checked in for our 5 day/4 night stay, it was clear that the room had been only partially cleaned; there were trash items on the carpet and floors (eg, dried grape stems) and crumbs in the drawers. We were informed that the room would be serviced "every other day" but no one came to clean, and it was only after we notified the front desk that the room was serviced on Day 4 (we were leaving the next day). The breakfast service was good and the rest of the facilities looked fine, except that the lobby carpets hadn't been vacuumed when we arrived and they were in the exact same condition when we left 5 days later (I have photos of all of the above).

It could be an amazing place, but it needs some more care. The floor in the lobby was always sticky, and the upholstery dirty (but not sticky). They ran out of coffee early afternoon and wouldn't replace. The room's WC it was so low it was dangerous bc of the placement in front of the shower. And it was super noisy, not because of guests but plumbing and ac. You could tell everytime when somebody opened a faucet or used the bathroom. Lastly, thier check id is a hassle; had to try on 3 different computers, and no one responded when I tried to contact support. No people available. Otherwise it was a great stay, great location and convenient. Would stay again, no problem

This hotel is so close to BU we could easily walk or take the T anywhere. The AC thermostat was not calibrated correctly and the room stayed quite warm. The ventilation in the bathroom was not sufficient so the room really heated up when any of us took a shower. The sofa bed mattress was no good. I miss the catered hot breakfast option. There are ice machines only on every other floor. We stay here for the location.

Cannot open any windows, can hear every noise in the neighboring room, have to ask for room cleaning, very basic breakfast, has no facility for any simple functions like printing a page or two! It is just like a dormitory.
