First impression when I walked in the room there was an empty bag of chips on the desk which made me feel the room may have not been thoroughly cleaned. Housekeeping came every other day, which was fine except for the trash that we had and the need of towels. The receptionist was kind, but when I asked questions about the washing machine and the dryer, I felt like I was bothering her. This hotel is close to the beach and not too far to Charleston. The breakfast was definitely mediocre, but I expected that from previous reviews. It’s nice that they have a kitchen and a full refrigerator, which was really helpful. Most likely won’t stay here at this property!

I was given a King bed and a couch not the 2 queen beds I reserved. I told the person that checked me in that I had reserved 2 queen beds. She said that they had overbooked the queens. So I am disappointed with this hotel.

I’ve stayed here many times and loved it. However, as soon as we got to the room the toilet wouldn’t flush and the shower wouldn’t turn off. We had to pack up again and move to another room. This hallway smelled like smoke and was right across from the elevator. So it took us from a great room to a bad one. We will probably not be staying again.

Only one laundry working, electric blackout or shorted the breakers in l at 10pm. Not cool. I went to sleep, wife didn't know how to fix it. Next day, I saw the breaker flashing, reset it, the lights came back but the entire kitchen was still out. Lucky the fridge started could until we left.
