This home is perfect for a group traveling to Columbia for a function at USC (6 mins to The Horseshoe), Fort Jackson graduation (15 mins to Visitor's Center), 701 Whaley event (1 minute), William's Brice or the State Fair Grounds (3 minutes), Founder's Park (2 minutes), or downtown to The Statehouse (6 minutes).

The house is within a few minutes walk of Olympia Park (check it out on Maps) and is in an older established neighborhood with a mix of permanent residents and student rental homes. The majority of the homes in this area are older early 1900s built structures, some have deferred maintenance but the neighborhood overall is quiet and peaceful. You may hear the horns of the nearby CSX railway throughout the day outside but minimally inside of the home. The historic Olympia and Granby Mills are down the street and have been repurposed as student housing.

Vehicle is the dominant mode of transportation in Columbia, but most things are within a few minutes ride away from the home. A taxi service, Uber or Lyft are excellent options for private transportation.
