“The staff are helpful and friendly. They were always willing to help with things beyond their responsibility, like recommending me with good restaurants nearby, looking for day tours for me and helping me to store my luggage after I checked out! Brilliant hotel with very nice staff!”

“You need to know where the rooms are; on the map, it looks right on the beach, and the rooms have sea views. However, when they say “Côté jardin”, it’s another building, a few doors down and across the street. If you get a room on the second floor, there is no elevator so be aware. These are just practical tips, don’t let it scare you away. The place was great, still mere metres from the beach, very clean, the breakfast was nice, the staff is excellent. Make sure to try their restaurant, it is……

“Lovely historic building - located in a small town, close to Caen, Bayeux (with its famed tapestry), Normandy D-day history sites. Very clean. Restaurant was great. They have a tennis court and a little farm with VERY cute bunnies. Only thing to note is that they don’t supply conditioner so ladies bring your own or let your hair get frizzy like I did. ”

“Such a nice hotel, worth a four star at the very least. Room very clean and comfortable, standard buffet breakfast, but no worse for that, great coffee. Staff were excellent always a smile and help with my almost non existent French. Very quite would stay again no question ideal for the D day sites. ”
