We were offered a coffee upon arrival and I wish we had eaten dinner here, but we went farther afield. Breakfast was very good. It was an easy walk to everywhere you'd want to go. “Libby, the host could not have been more helpful. She was an absolute star helping us organise trips and transport. Her warm welcome and that of her staff made our trip to Cuba, and in all she simply could not do enough for us. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. The room perfectly acceptable for the price and the beach at Playa Larga gorgeous. The hostal was perfectly positioned for the beach being only a few meters away ( at a guess, less than 100). Do not expect 5* homogenised luxury. Do……

“Quiet and in good condition, clean and tidy reasonable price, and 10 mins walking distance to the main spot of Cienfuegos, close to the Main Street. Very friendly host, there was one night when the whole town was suffering from power failure, when we came back from dinner, the host worked so hard with mechanic to try to recover the power supply, when we were worrying if we had to take shower in the dark, they successfully recovered within 15 mins. Really impressed by their effort, highly……

“This property was one of the best stays in our vacation in Cuba. Starting with Manager Eleonor. She was awesome always attentive to our 2 year old daughter. Food was excellent, rooms spacious and clean. Nice family environment. This is a hidden gem. In our cuba visit stay in different places but I can say I had a better time and treatment than at Melia Varadero. Also Camilas House had the best Mojito I had in Cuba. Will go back again. The owners should be proud of their staff very hard working……
