"What’s not to like? Beautiful location with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Our group of six found it a great base for surfing local spots. Some of the elements that made our stay a little more hazardous are actually stellar selling points for those without an 18 month old to monitor (slippery red clay tiles! Open air, bannisterless winding staircase! Pool without a fence!) Great communication throughout. We’ll be back for sure."

"A carnival was set up literally on the doorstep of this rent with horrendous noise from 3 pm to midnight...literally felt the earth shake under my feet/the host was very helpful except for not disclosing this carnival which is obviously a yearly event with day of the dead/we paid a premium price was a house that was unbearable to be in after 3pm/if the location had been clearly revealed i would not have chosen this house for dia del los muertos...it would be fine if there was not a bumper car...

"It’s a really nice place to stay. The food was pretty good in the buffet. If you arrive early, they will let you hang around, but they won’t give you a bracelet to use the facilities, which was a bit frustrating. We traveled all night, got there at about 10 am, and they said we couldn’t have bracelets until 12:30. The place doesn’t have a way to pay other than all-inclusive, so we had to just go waste time for 2.5 hours. It was a bad first impression. I mean, how much of the breakfast buffet...

"This place is conveniently located walking distance to the beach (Sta Cruz), local supermarket and downtown Crucecita. The hotel manager, Andres, was very friendly and offered us an upgrade of the room when he arrived a bit later. The 2 double bed room was spacious, beds were comfortable and clean and there was a balcony, a small bar and a fridge too. It was easy to communicate with the hotel manager through Whatsapp and he made sure to accommodate whatever we needed help with. Thank you!"

"Casa lidia was perfect for our stay. It was a short walk into Centro in a really cute area. We were so comfortable in our room and slept really well. The hosts were very helpful and the daily breakfast was delicious! I had eggs with chorizo each day and it was yum!! "

"At the top of the 160-step winding stairway thru sub-tropical rain forest lies an amazing habitation with magnificent whitewater views. The beautiful complex of 6 separate cabanas was artfully designed and constructed by the architect-owner. Enjoy the birdsongs from your private patio overlooking the forest/ocean, or cool off in the infinity pool overlooking the waves. Staff was attentive and served us the best huevos a la Mexicana and espresso cafes of our entire Oaxaca trip."
