"very cute, rustic fro sure. cabana for instance has no doors, the cabin is enclosed but really only has the one very large bed. my one major note is the cabin doorknob locked us out multiple times, we made a rule to keep the key outside for our stay but could cause a large issues if they don’t have a spare on the property."

As mentioned before in some of other reviews it’s needs a deep clean, windows, curtains washed etc to make it shine. We were told we would be called the day before to be informed if we could have one - they never communicated with us. Our cottage (43) also had terrible water pressure. "We went on a spur of the moment cycling trip to Salt Spring Island. The hills were tough but at the end of that error in judgment was the gem that is Hummingbird B&B. "While we had a good night at this property, and the kitchen and common area were great, the place was not particularly clean, there was only one bathroom for 12 beds and the room and bathroom door locks were not functional. We did not know which room was ours and had to figure that out by finding someone who could tell us. It seemed that not all of the work was finished to get this property ready to use. That said, it was peaceful, quiet and calm. "

"We enjoyed our night in this unusual B&B. Backpacking season hasn't really started yet, so we had the place to ourselves. There are 2 rooms with 4 bunks each, and 1 room with 6 bunks. You need to book each bed seperately. There is a shared bathroom. It would be excellent for a bunch of frends to gather, or for individuals looking to meet fellow backpackers. The host was very helpful, responding to our questions right away."

May be the best B&B we ever stayed in
"Weatherly was amazing from start to finish. Stephanie was a gracious host and an amazing cook. Fresh bread and cinnamon buns for breakfast along with fresh fruit, yogurt, lattes, and so much more. The pool was warm and inviting, the hot tub was welcome after a day of hiking, and there were spacious grounds to admire and walk in. The bed was great as was the shower pressure. We also had a soaker tub in our room and a fireplace. The wake-up knock with latte at the time we selected before breakfast was a welcome surprise and we enjoyed relaxing in the Adirondack chairs on the dock in the pond. Excellent in all respects. "
