"We are there for a nigh on our way to the Mahibadhoo island. Somerset Inn is provided free pick us up from airport and drop off which we two girl’s needed since our flight arrival to Male airport at late in the evening. The staffs are friendly and helpful and fully support ours need. Such as late dinner they can order and delivery to ours room even late in the evening. Excellent services Somerset Inn. "

"The advertised picture versus our actual room where two totally different things. The room we booked was the size of a normal hotel room...the room we actually got could hardly fit a full size bed and not in great shape (though the bed was surprisingly comfortable). "

"We arrived at 22.00 and requested hotel transfer. It will be hard to find without it. Ferry to Male, taxi to another ferry port, another ferry. Hotel is on a small island next to Male. If you do not mind that you will wake up in a lovely island, clean modern hotel, efficient staff. Ferry back to Male every 10 min takes 7 min and cost 2 use. If you want some tours could be organised by the hotel.Good alternative to busy Male. Internet in the room slow."

I also love the attention they pay in not utilising single use plastic for their amenities and in room water bottles. What really made both our stays enjoyable was the incredible service. All of the staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was easy and enjoyable. Special thanks to Vincent for recognising us on our return stay and organising our rooms to be close together. It's small things like this that sets service apart. We have just returned from 5 days at a 5* island and the service at the Somerset was way better than it was at the island we stayed at. We also had dinner at the in house restaurant which was delicious and very convenient. "
