Great value hotel a few steps from Time Square. Of course the rooms are dated, but they’re clean, the staff is very friendly and the price is very reasonable. I went with a group and a Colombian guy who was in the front desk was very polite and helpful. I don’t personally love the Time Square area but will definitely stay here again. They also have a service ride to the airport for $85 in a comfortable black car.

The only downfall of this hotel in my opinion was there wasn’t a coffee maker in the room. It is outdated some but for sleeping it was fine. There is a great little place next door, Cook, they had great coffee and amazing food selections!!

For us the St James was perfect. Gracious staff,very clean, and a nice bed. We asked for a quiet room in the back and had no street noise or even neighbors talking. No micro, coffee maker or fridge, but who really needs those. ( Family-owned..we celebrated Ms.Weg’s 98th b-day. ) The St James is a delight!
