"It is our first time on Isla Mujeres and we stayed here for 5 nights. All of the staff were wonderful and kind. Our room (standard room #4) was large, bright, and clean! Unfortunately the bed was a quite hard and I would not want to have slept on it longer than we did. It was also incredibly loud with people passing by on their scooters and golf carts, but only from around 9am to 9pm. The rooftop view was stunning, and I appreciated the 12-15 minute walk into town along the seawall. All in all...

"Great apartment with everything I need. Hot water was nice. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked decent. Host was available to handle my needs and answer questions. Recommend this apartment for those wanting to visit cancun but avoid the tourist area. Its a bit of a distance from centro and beach area. "

"The room was clean and most things were fine (hot water not consistent and wrong wifi password given in the room though) and Ana was nice, but overall our check-in was difficult. The neighborhood seemed unsafe to arrive to at night and no one was there to let us in when we arrived (we only got in thanks to another traveler). Apparently Ana was supposed to come meet us at the time of our arrival, but we were never asked beforehand for that information and didn't know there would be no reception....

"This was a pleasant stay. The place was like a villa and peaceful. The owner went out of her way to meet me and make sure all amenities were available (wi-fi, bicycles, directions to local restaurants) She was truly helpful. I would stay here again and I recommend hostels only 4 you."

"I made a reservation a month ahead of my arrival at Casa Cielo through Expedia. When I arrived, there was no one to help at the front desk. I contacted the number provided with the property and no one answered my phone call. I then sent them a message through Whatsapp to the same number provided on Expedia. The person on the other end of the message answered and stated they no longer work through Expedia. They just told me to contact Expedia to get a refund. The administration was not helpful...

"The overall experience was great. One real negative is that the Hilton Cancun had no shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. For a big hotel chain not having this service we were quite dissatisfied. As a result, it cost us $98US from the airport to the hotel which is only a 15 min drive...this is ridiculous and was not a very good start to our vacation after arriving. "
