"I don’t know why or how it happened but I understood my booking for three days/two nights to mean the reservation was confirmed only to find out upon our arrival that the host was unaware of our reservation and had booked it the following night. It was so late after a terribly long drive so since she offered us a stay that night we took it but with all the fees and taxes piled on to an already expensive price per night (maybe for a peak period) the night stay was so pricey. "Cute place near the southern part of the Cliff Walk. It is a mile or so from the wharf and restaurants & we did lots of walking, but if you aren't up for lots of walking, then you need a car, or can do lyft. The kitchen has everything you need for coffee, or to cook/reheat food. The bedroom and bath are up stairs, which was fine with us. Everything was clean and comfortable with everything wet needed for a few days. The host Lou was good at communicating, and checking in. We enjoyed our stay...

"The apartment is relatively fresh and clean, but old. The street is sketchy with lots of potholes leading to it. The parking was not ideal - part of the road was flooded so it was impossible to park without blocking someone else’s car. There is no decent view from the apartment. Would not be eager to come back."
