“El hotel es muy lindo y está bien ubicado, aunque se llama Beach Resort pero no esta en primera fila de playa. Solo hay wifi en la recepción. El desayuno es bastante pobre, nada que ver con la foto que muestran. La pileta cierra a las 6pm lo cual impide usarla luego de la playa”

“The staff are what make the place. They will go above and beyond for you! It’s also beautiful! The rooms are clean and quiet. Not the fanciest hotel in the world but comfortable and comforting. Nothing left to be desired.”

“The hotel needs to improve the communication between the stuff and check that the amenities are always working inside and outside the property. Foods is excellent. The junior suite the rooms needs renew as well as the bathrooms. ”

“This is a great place to relax, but there is not a lot to do at the hotel or within walking distance. The plunge pools with villa are fantastic! Due to the tides in the area, you can only swim in the ocean at high tide, and the water has a lot of seaweed. The restaurant is amazing, we really enjoyed all of our meals and the staff were always friendly and helpful.”

“We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Kobe Suites. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. It is a well-designed hotel on the best stretch of beach in Watamu which is also part of the nature reserve. When we dined in, the food and drink was excellent and moderately priced. ”

“I visited The One during off season and covid mitigation rules, and due to this circunstances, I was surprisingly the only customer in the whole large resort. I got very warm welcome and free upgrade to a seafront apartment. Nothing major to complain other than the TV in the apartment did not work, neither did the wifi for some occasions. The resort location is remote from watamu bay and basic services but the hotel have good restaurant and other facilities. I managed to get a cheap uber from……

“Premessa: chiamo prima di arrivare in albergo considerando il gran caldo mi assicuro che la struttura ha l’aria condizionata, al mio arrivo proviamo svariate camere tutte abbastanza sporche e fatiscenti unica nota positiva aria condizionata. Una volta sistemate le valigie usciamo fuori dal residence per andare a cena al nostro rientro troviamo un ventilatore fuori la porta, chiedo al receptionist cosa significasse e lo stesso mi risponde che l’aria è rotta in tutta le stanze considerando che……

“I had booked a room at Mvuvi 5 months ago and was told when I arrived that they had overbooked. I was thrown into a random house in Watamu, dogs running through the room, the person in the next room being violently sick all night. The house wasn’t even on the map so I got very lost late at night trying to find it. Mvuvi must have known about the overbooking months ago, but only told me on my arrival. I had an option of another hotel originally, which I would have obviously taken if I’d have……

“Toilet is broken Telephone not working Cannot watch TV and have the AC on. Its one or the other Hot water was good Rooms are spacious ”

“The property (houses on Easter Side) has big issue with the three-phase power input. Finally, we spent our night without electricity (two basic lamps were provided instead for the room and bathroom). The electric generator was not reliable - lights were blinking all the time. I didn`t want to charge my electric equipment when the generator was used (didn`t want risk damaging items). The breakfast was rather basic. The rest of the experience was OK. It was the only only one property we visited……

“Sandies is een gezellig hotel aan het strand waar heel veel verschillende nationaliteiten komen. Het eten is er geweldig en de jongens en meisjes van de animatie super enthousiast. Het enige nadeel is dat de kamers vrij gehorig zijn: wij werden om 6 uur wakker van de wekker van de buren. Dus oordoppen mee! ”

“The property is quite nice with some level of privacy which is really amazing, great value for money!The location is very convenient,15 min drive from Malindi Airport ( depending on the roads condition ). We had some low points though ,like blackouts -very disappointing as food in the refrigerator got spoiled on two occasions!, edge reception upon checkin , irritating beach boys, and NO PRIVATE BEACH! also the air conditioning system wasnt working most times. I think its a great place if……
