"We have traveled all around the world and stayed at the best but this little boutique mansion in the heart of Old Havana is striving and reaching its 5 star goal. I love hotels in their infancy trying to work out kinks but they really don’t have any of those normal issues, incredibly on the ball at every turn. "I was sexually harassed by a member of staff at this hotel! Do not go here! I was a young woman travelling alone. I paid the extortionate price for a room in this hotel as I thought it would help guarantee some degree of safety. I was very wrong. I called to book a massage only to be sent to a room (very very suspicious). I felt really cut off from the rest of the hotel. "Old hotel in need of repair. Bugs in bathroom and shower tile cracked and missing. Cord to air conditioner was spliced and held together with electrical tape also it had no way to control temperature. Ended up plugging it in the middle of the night it got go cold. "The hotel had a good location. Hotel was welcoming, the lobby was clean and nicely furnished.The staff were super helpful in giving suggestions on how to see the city and get around. The food was reasonably priced and tasted good. The air conditioning worked, however, the toilet and shower had minor issues with water going down the drain."
