"Right in the heart of Ashland and only a block from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival this place is a gem. We stayed in the Oak Tower suite, a two story, could sleep 8 accommodation. Not only was it immaculate but it was sweetly appointed with fresh flowers, contemporary magazines, fresh fruit, Martinelli's Cider and popcorn. "We were pleased with our stay. George at the front desk is a gem. He made sure we got a free welcome glass of wine and a cookie he’d baked at bedtime. He also gave us good advice on places to eat in the neighborhood. The facilities appear to be from the 1980s, but were very clean and well-maintained. Good value. "

"Our room was in the Lodge on the 2nd floor. Very tiny room right next to the kitchen exhaust. At 1:20 a.m. the fire alarm went off. It was attached to the ceiling so we could not turn it off. There was no one else in the lodge. We opened all the windows and turned on the fan in the room and it finally went out. I reported this to the management but we received no discount/compensation. We also ate dinner here; $45 each for a very small piece of sabelfish and grilled cabbage and small salad....

"Lovely inn within walking distance of the theatres. The room was clean and spacious and everything worked. Nice free breakfast with steel cut oats and plenty of healthy toppings. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Ashland. "
