The Inn on the River.
We made this reservation well in advance. We absolutely loved our experience at The Inn.
When we checked in the staff was amazing. They provided a nice gift to our daughter and the hospitality was fantastic. We liked the proximity to other venues in Pigeon Forge (be patient with traffic). They have two pools at the location (one inside and one outside). We enjoyed the indoor pool the first night (did not go back after as our child did not have googles and the chlorine was definitely noticeable when you walked by). They had a very nice hot breakfast that featured many items to chose from. Loved their outdoor seating and nice view of Pigeon Forge and the Mountains. The rooms were clean and spacious. The only item we were a little upset about (but, out of our control and not at fault of the hotel) was the take over from the baseball teams (their was a big tournament in town). They completely took over the entire hotel. I understand they need rooms but would have been nice for the hotel to notify or give a heads up to the other families that were there that “just FYI, a large group is coming in this weekend”.
Overall, the staff was fantastic. We would definitely consider staying again (but looking to see what big baseball events are in town). Highly recommended staying at this hotel.
